Itinerario

DAY 1 – Salar de Uyuni Highlights

Departure: 10:30 AM

  1. Train Cemetery – an open-air museum of abandoned locomotives.

  2. Colchani – visit the salt-processing museum and local crafts.

  3. Eyes of the Salt – natural salt-water springs.

  4. Salt Hotel “Playa Blanca” – stop for lunch.

  5. Dakar Monument – iconic photo stop.

  6. Flag Plaza – colorful international flags in the heart of the salt desert.

  7. Perspective Photography Session – creative photos on the endless white flats.

  8. Incahuasi Island – giant cacti and panoramic views (entrance fee not included).

Night: Salt-hostel in shared rooms (double, twin, triple) – shared bathroom.


DAY 2 – Lagoons & Andean Fauna

Departure: 7:00 AM

  1. Ollagüe Volcano Viewpoint – active volcano on the Chilean border.

  2. Cañapa Lagoon – habitat for flamingos.

  3. Hedionda Lagoon – lunch with altiplano scenery.

  4. Siloli Desert – impressive rock formations.

  5. Stone Tree – famous wind-sculpted rock.

  6. Red Lagoon (Laguna Colorada) – flamingo sanctuary and natural wonder.

Night: Shared refuge for 6 passengers (rustic, basic accommodation).


DAY 3 – Geysers, Hot Springs & Laguna Verde

  1. Sol de Mañana Geysers – fumaroles and boiling mud pools at sunrise.

  2. Polques Hot Springs – time to relax in natural thermal waters.

  3. Salvador Dalí Desert – surreal landscapes reminiscent of Dalí’s paintings.

  4. Laguna Verde – emerald-green lagoon at the foot of Licancabur Volcano.

Connection to San Pedro de Atacama (Chile)

⚠️ Passengers traveling to Chile continue to the border, where a Chilean 14-passenger minibus picks you up between 9:00 and 9:30 AM to connect to San Pedro de Atacama.

Return to Uyuni (for passengers not going to Chile)
